E-Space seeks a Deployable Structures Test Engineer to lead ground testing of large deployable antenna systems for LEO satellite communications. You'll design and execute gravity-offload deployment tests, validate deployment kinematics and force profiles, and ensure ground-to-flight correlation for a next-generation space IoT platform.

What you'll do

  • Design and execute gravity-offload deployment test campaigns for large deployable antenna structures
  • Characterize deployment kinematics and force profiles during test operations
  • Establish and validate ground-to-flight correlation methodologies
  • Verify deployment repeatability and compliance with aperture geometry requirements
  • Manage test facility engineering and coordinate between on-site locations in California and Texas
  • Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshooting at deployment test facilities
