About this role
Fehr & Peers seeks an experienced Transportation or Civil Engineer with 7-12 years of experience to lead and manage transportation projects across the Bay Area. You'll advance technical expertise in traffic engineering, complete streets, and multimodal planning while developing project management and mentoring capabilities in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage transportation projects from conceptual planning through final design, including PS&E preparation
- Apply analytical techniques independently and contribute to project problem-solving and decision-making
- Prepare technical reports, memos, and presentations for clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate project scope, schedule, and budget while managing multiple assignments
- Mentor entry-level staff and interns through delegation, review, and guidance
- Conduct site visits, field data collection, and lead client meetings to support business development
