About this role
FieldAI seeks a Software Engineer focused on Data Engineering to support embodied AI systems deployed on real robots and hardware in Southern California. You'll work on building reliable, field-tested data pipelines and systems that enable continuous learning and improvement across globally deployed robotic solutions.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain data pipelines for collecting, processing, and managing sensor data from deployed robots
- Build infrastructure to support model training and evaluation on real-world field data
- Collaborate with robotics and ML teams to ensure data quality and accessibility
- Develop tools and systems for monitoring data collection across distributed field deployments
- Optimize data storage and retrieval systems for high-volume sensor streams
- Implement data validation and error handling for production robotic systems
