Audit Methodology Engineer
About this role
Fieldguide is seeking an Audit Methodology Engineer to bridge audit standards and AI-powered workflows, operationalizing methodology content and ensuring their agentic platform delivers trustworthy, standards-compliant audit solutions. You'll structure guidance from US GAAS and PCAOB standards into usable content while collaborating with AI and product teams to translate professional judgment into reliable workflows.
What you'll do
- Define and structure out-of-the-box methodology content by translating US GAAS, PCAOB standards, and industry frameworks into audit procedures and platform workflows
- Design and oversee the ingestion, review, and quality control of methodology content and engagement templates for completeness and accuracy
- Partner with AI architects and engineers to convert professional standards and practitioner judgment into prompts, workflows, and guardrails for methodology agents
- Support financial audit implementation teams with bespoke methodology builds, customizations, and annual updates
- Review and refine methodology templates based on real-world auditor feedback and evolving regulatory developments
- Maintain and evolve the audit knowledge base to reflect changes in standards, guidance, and industry practices
