Figure, an AI robotics company, seeks an Electrical Hardware Engineer to design and integrate wire harness and electrical interconnect systems for humanoid robots. You'll manage 3D CAD routing, 2D documentation, connector selection, and manufacturing coordination across complex electromechanical assemblies in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain 3D wire harness routing within system-level robotic assemblies
  • Create 2D harness drawings, flattened layouts, and manufacturing documentation
  • Select connectors, backshells, strain reliefs, and define mounting features
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to translate schematics into physical harness designs
  • Ensure compliance with bend radius, shielding, separation, and EWIS/USCAR standards
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contract manufacturers for design-for-manufacturability feedback
