About this role

Forward Networks seeks a Customer Success Engineer to provide post-sales technical expertise and drive adoption of their network digital twin platform for enterprise clients. You'll serve as the primary technical contact for customers, working across product, engineering, and sales teams while based onsite at customer locations in the Charlotte/New Jersey/NYC area.

What you'll do

  • Deliver technical guidance and subject matter expertise to ensure successful platform adoption and ongoing usage
  • Own post-sales technical issues and develop troubleshooting procedures with cross-functional teams
  • Guide customers through adoption stages of the Forward Networks platform
  • Collaborate with internal Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams
  • Provide strategic thinking and tactical execution to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Travel approximately 10% of the time

  • Networking and security fundamentals
  • Experience with multiple network vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto Networks, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • API-driven workflows and scripting (Python, bash, jq, GraphQL)
  • Presentation and needs analysis skills
  • Customer relationship management
  • Technical troubleshooting and documentation
