Freedom Technology Solutions Group seeks a Cloud Engineer to manage security assessments, compliance, and continuous monitoring across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Azure). The role involves evaluating cloud security postures, managing authorization and accreditation packages, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure applications meet security and architectural standards.
What you'll do
- Conduct security assessments and identify gaps across four major cloud service providers
- Review and validate cloud security authorization packages for completeness
- Facilitate technical exchange meetings with cloud providers to evaluate architectures
- Analyze security scan findings and develop risk mitigation procedures
- Manage compliance status dashboards, metrics, and performance indicators
- Provide program management support including planning, tracking, and resource coordination

- Multi-cloud platform experience (AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
- NIST RMF, FIPS-199, NIST 800-53, and CNSS 1253 standards knowledge
- Security scanning tools (Rapid7, Nessus, Qualys)
- Compliance management tools (Xacta 360, Risk Vision, RSA Archer)
- POA&M creation and tracking
- Security control assessments and authorization package development
- Project management and metrics reporting
- Active security clearance with polygraph
