About this role

Glimpse is seeking a Site Operations Engineer to establish and run a new Bay Area facility for X-ray-powered battery quality testing. You'll manage facility setup, CT scanner operations, regulatory compliance, and oversee production to hit revenue targets while scaling the team.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate facility setup including installation of industrial X-ray CT scanner and vendor management
  • Obtain DOT, IATA, and Radiation Safety Officer certifications required for the facility
  • Operate CT scanner, process scans, and manage production workflows following Boston facility protocols
  • Own inbound/outbound logistics, meet order deadlines, and communicate with customers
  • Track scanner utilization, optimize output, and minimize downtime to improve operational efficiency
  • Lead facility growth planning, determine staffing needs, and hire CT technicians
