About this role
Harbinger, a commercial EV manufacturer, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for its Garden Grove facility to optimize powertrain production operations. You'll resolve manufacturing issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate across teams to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
What you'll do
- Serve as primary engineering resource for manufacturing issues affecting safety, quality, and productivity
- Develop and maintain work instructions, standard work, PFMEAs, control plans, and manufacturing documentation
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, cycle time, first-pass yield, and cost reduction
- Support engineering change orders, new product introductions, and manufacturing readiness activities
- Design and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions

- Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving (5 Why, Fishbone, DOE, Pareto)
- MES and ERP systems
- Manufacturing data analysis and KPI tracking
- Process design and optimization

- Automotive or EV production experience
- Quality systems and control plan development
