About this role

Join IMC's Data Engineering Infrastructure team to design and operate large-scale storage and data platforms supporting high-frequency trading. You'll work with Hadoop, Kubernetes, and cloud storage systems while tuning Linux performance and automating infrastructure at scale.

What you'll do

  • Design, deploy, and operate large-scale data storage infrastructure including Hadoop and S3-compatible platforms
  • Tune Linux systems for I/O throughput and optimize overall performance
  • Automate configuration and deployment using Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools
  • Build observability and monitoring with Prometheus and alerting systems
  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver reliable, well-architected storage and Kafka solutions
  • Maintain and scale infrastructure as data footprint grows
