About this role

Kalepa seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with insurance clients, integrating AI-powered software into their systems and driving measurable business outcomes. You'll own the full lifecycle—from technical design through implementation—while working across customer success, product, and engineering teams to unlock value from the platform.

What you'll do

  • Embed directly with enterprise insurance clients to understand workflows and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Design and implement integrations between Kalepa's platform and customer systems, managing APIs and third-party connections
  • Own end-to-end project delivery: propose approaches, build solutions, test, and iterate based on real customer data and feedback
  • Debug complex system issues and optimize performance across databases, cloud infrastructure, and asynchronous workflows
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders—customers, product, and engineering—to surface blockers and maintain alignment
  • Experiment rapidly on novel problems, measure results, and drive continuous improvement in customer implementations
