About this role

Join KAYAK's Cars Meta UI team as an Associate Front End Engineer to build search experiences used by millions of travelers. You'll work with React and TypeScript in a hybrid role (3 days/week in Concord or Cambridge, MA), supported by senior engineers as you grow and contribute meaningful features from day one.

What you'll do

  • Develop and deliver front-end features for KAYAK's Cars search product using React and TypeScript
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews with constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement user-facing features across web and mobile
  • Create unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions
  • Use AI coding tools (such as Claude Code) to improve development velocity and code quality
  • Contribute actively to agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
