About this role
K Group Companies seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to design and present physical security solutions, bridging technical expertise with customer needs. You'll qualify opportunities, conduct site evaluations, deliver demonstrations, and collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery across cloud and on-premise systems.
What you'll do
- Partner with Account Executives to qualify leads, design systems, and develop winning proposals
- Perform site evaluations and technology consultations to validate solution fit and scalability
- Deliver technical presentations and live demonstrations showcasing solution value
- Design cloud-managed and on-premise architectures tailored to client requirements
- Collaborate with project management and field teams to ensure smooth project handoff
- Create RFP responses and solution documentation meeting high standards
What they're looking for
- Sales engineering or system design experience in physical security
- Video surveillance systems (VMS/NVR) knowledge
- Access control and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with platforms like Avigilon, OpenEye, Axis, HID, or similar
- Technical presentation and communication abilities
- IoT and integration technology expertise
- Site evaluation and architectural design
- Self-starter mentality with problem-solving drive
