About this role
Lasko Products seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements and new product introductions at their Franklin, TN facility. You'll design manufacturing solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate across teams to enhance quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency for home comfort products.
What you'll do
- Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation and manage design changes
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials using SolidWorks
- Support manufacturing operations on the plant floor by troubleshooting quality and production issues
- Identify and execute continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
- Evaluate manufacturing equipment and support capital improvement projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers on product launches and design reviews

- SolidWorks and CAD software proficiency
- Knowledge of injection molding, stamping, welding, and automated manufacturing
- GD&T, metrology, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, DMAIC)
- Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
- Project management and organizational abilities
- Equipment troubleshooting and process optimization
- Cross-functional communication and collaboration
