About this role
Locus Robotics seeks an Onsite Support Engineer to serve as the primary technical contact at a Las Vegas customer site, managing autonomous robot fleet operations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and optimizing warehouse workflows. The role combines hands-on technical work with operational problem-solving and customer liaison responsibilities to ensure peak robot performance and uptime.
What you'll do
- Monitor robot fleet health, activity, and task execution to maximize uptime and operational stability
- Perform onsite troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on autonomous robots
- Optimize workflows and track operational metrics (throughput, UPH, utilization) to meet performance targets
- Conduct onsite testing and validation to support product development and continuous improvement
- Analyze operational data and generate actionable insights for system optimization
- Act as liaison between customer operations and internal engineering teams on issues and opportunities
