About this role

LogicGate seeks a Platform Software Engineer to design and build backend services, REST APIs, and data layers powering their AI GRC platform. You'll own defined service domains, ship high-impact features, and maintain production systems while working autonomously within a collaborative, Agile environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and build backend features and REST APIs using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot from requirements through production
  • Write clean code with comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit to ensure stable deployments
  • Independently diagnose and resolve production issues by analyzing logs, tracing requests, and utilizing monitoring tools
  • Act as a subject matter expert for an assigned platform domain, optimizing for maintainability and scalability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, and frontend teams in Agile sprints while raising blockers early
  • Work operationally with PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Redis, and RabbitMQ to optimize data flow across microservices
