Technical Services Engineer- Weekends

About this role

MongoDB seeks a Senior Technical Services Engineer for weekend support in Palo Alto to provide expert guidance on MongoDB's cloud products and services. You'll troubleshoot complex technical issues, mentor junior engineers, and serve as a product advocate for enterprise customers across Atlas, Cloud Manager, and related tools.

What you'll do

• Support and resolve technical issues for strategic customers with focus on proactive problem-solving
• Troubleshoot application problems using log analysis, server diagnostics, and industry tools
• Create technical documentation, knowledge articles, and FAQs for the support portal
• Test new features and develop testing methodologies across different technologies
• Mentor junior engineers and cross-train peers on specialty topics
• Gather customer feedback and advocate for user needs to product and engineering teams

• 5+ years technical support or related experience
• Cloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Operating systems and networking fundamentals
