About this role
Muon Space seeks a Microwave Instrument Systems Engineer to develop and scale microwave instruments for its satellite remote sensing constellation. You will adapt existing instrument designs for production, own core system components, and collaborate with partners to enhance internal capabilities in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Design and develop cutting-edge microwave instruments for satellite remote sensing applications
- Adapt existing instrument implementations to Muon's hardware platform for scalable production
- Understand, design, and refine core microwave system components
- Perform ground-based and on-orbit calibration of microwave instruments
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance team capabilities and knowledge
- Optimize instrument designs for cost-effective volume manufacturing
