About this role
Join Neon's SF engineering team to build AI agent systems that automate healthcare workflows and improve patient access to medications. You'll debug production AI systems, design evaluation frameworks, and develop infrastructure that powers real-world agent behavior—not model training, but applied systems engineering.
What you'll do
- Debug and fix runtime issues in production AI agents, then develop regression tests
- Design evaluation datasets and QA tools to simulate realistic healthcare workflows
- Build agent simulation infrastructure to test system behavior
- Write and refine prompts to improve agent performance
- Interface with client data and monitor multi-agent systems at scale
- Collaborate on infrastructure improvements for agent reliability and performance
What they're looking for
- LLM systems and prompt engineering
- AI agent debugging and tracing
- Python or similar backend languages
- Testing and evaluation framework design
- Production system monitoring
- Healthcare domain knowledge (preferred)
- Infrastructure and tooling development
