Software Engineer

About this role

Nox Metals seeks a full-stack software engineer to build and deploy production systems for a new aluminum manufacturing facility in Los Angeles. You'll develop software that directly powers factory operations, from machine scheduling to customer ordering, working closely with operators and the Detroit engineering team to ship fast and solve real manufacturing problems.

What you'll do

• Build production systems for quoting, scheduling, procurement, machine operations, and material tracking
• Deploy code that runs live on factory floors and serves customers
• Create internal tools for automation, planning, and inventory management across alloy types
• Develop customer-facing tools for quoting, ordering, and order visibility
• Collaborate with factory operators and machinists to identify bottlenecks and implement rapid fixes
• Own the technical foundation of a new facility and coordinate with the Detroit software team
