Manufacturing Engineer (Warrenton)
About this role
OBE seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Warrenton, MO to design and optimize advanced manufacturing processes for architectural glass and building products. You'll lead continuous improvement initiatives, mentor technical teams, and drive operational excellence using Lean and Toyota Production System methodologies.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and implement innovative manufacturing processes and equipment
- Optimize manufacturing operations through cross-functional collaboration with engineers, technicians, and production staff
- Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency standards
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to manufacturing teams on Lean tools and quality systems
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, TPS, and statistical quality tools
- Conduct Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, FMEA, root cause analysis, and validation testing

- New Product Introduction (NPI) validation
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving
