Forward Deployed Software Engineer - Seattle

About this role

OpenAI seeks an experienced full-stack software engineer to deploy AI-powered solutions for enterprise customers. You'll embed with strategic clients to architect and build custom applications using OpenAI's APIs, while collaborating with internal teams to scale deployment practices across engagements.

What you'll do

• Partner with strategic customers to understand business challenges and technical requirements
• Design, architect, and develop full-stack solutions using iterative, experiment-driven approaches
• Create detailed scopes and project plans for proof-of-concept and production deployments
• Work hands-on with customer technical teams as a trusted technical advisor and collaborator
• Gather and communicate actionable product feedback to internal Research and Product teams
• Document best practices and insights to scale the Forward Deployed Engineering function
