Full Stack Software Engineer, ChatGPT Finances

About this role

Join OpenAI's ChatGPT Finances team to build full-stack features that help users connect financial accounts, visualize their finances, and ask AI-powered questions about their money. You'll own products end-to-end—from polished frontend interfaces to backend services, data models, and AI integration—while working across product, design, security, and infrastructure teams.

What you'll do

• Own full-stack product features from frontend implementation through backend APIs, data models, and deployment
• Build accessible interfaces for account connection, dashboards, insights, and conversational workflows
• Design and maintain backend systems for safe ingestion, normalization, and serving of financial data
• Create resilient integrations handling data synchronization, freshness, permissions, and user consent
• Integrate new AI capabilities into production with emphasis on accuracy, transparency, and user control
• Establish architecture, testing practices, and operational safeguards for a growing product area
