About this role
OpenAI is seeking a Software Engineer focused on Developer Productivity for their networking teams. You'll enhance the development experience for engineers building high-performance networking infrastructure by improving build systems, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
What you'll do
- Optimize development workflows and iteration speed for networking infrastructure teams
- Design and enhance continuous deployment, release, and validation pipelines
- Build and maintain test harnesses for multi-server and hardware-backed environments
- Partner with engineers to identify and resolve friction in CI, testing, debugging, and deployment
- Drive testing and reliability strategy for large-scale training and inference infrastructure
- Work across centralized developer experience teams while embedded with networking engineers
