About this role
OpenAI seeks a Software Engineer to build scalable systems that enhance security observability infrastructure. You'll design data pipelines, maintain reliable systems, and collaborate with security teams to reduce organizational risk through improved threat detection and forensic capabilities.
What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable software systems for security observability across infrastructure
- Build and maintain data pipelines that centralize security-relevant data from diverse sources
- Improve resilience and reliability of data systems to ensure high platform availability
- Collaborate with Detection & Response and security teams to reduce security risk
- Contribute to data engineering for forensic investigations and compliance efforts
