About this role

Palantir seeks a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to develop cutting-edge autonomous systems for military and commercial applications in challenging environments. You'll integrate sensors, actuators, and AI-driven decision-making to enable remote and autonomous control of individual and swarm systems.

What you'll do

  • Build and integrate autonomous systems combining sensors, actuators, and intelligent decision-making capabilities
  • Deploy solutions in austere environments for military and commercial edge computing applications
  • Develop real-time response systems for path planning and kinetic/non-kinetic actuation
  • Work with sensor data from IMUs, autopilots, cameras, radars, and RF systems
  • Collaborate with AI, sensing, and systems engineering experts on complex real-world scenarios
  • Contribute to swarm systems and remote control architectures
