Software Engineer - Defense Applications

About this role

Palantir seeks a front-end engineer to build defense applications that empower military personnel with data-driven decision-making tools. You'll develop user-facing features using modern web technologies and Palantir's Foundry and AIP platforms, working closely with customers to deliver rapid solutions in dynamic operational environments.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end feature development for defense applications used by military personnel
• Collaborate with customers and forward-deployed engineers to design and implement solutions
• Develop geospatial and 3D visualizations using technologies like Maplibre and Three.js
• Build and maintain reusable tools and libraries for cross-application use
• Mentor team members and share expertise as you develop deep domain knowledge
• Balance rapid delivery with technical excellence in fast-moving project cycles
