About this role
As a Technical Services Engineer for Portworx, you'll be the bridge between customers and the Portworx platform, diagnosing and resolving complex cloud-native infrastructure issues across Kubernetes and major cloud providers. You'll drive proactive problem-solving, manage customer support cases through their full lifecycle, and contribute knowledge that strengthens the entire support organization.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability
- Analyze system logs and telemetry to reproduce issues and partner with Engineering on long-term solutions
- Manage full lifecycle of technical support cases during critical production phases and proof-of-concepts
- Provide expert guidance during customer escalations and maintain satisfaction levels
- Create documentation and knowledge base articles to improve incident response processes
- Participate in shift rotations and on-call schedules to support global customers

- Troubleshooting and debugging complex software stacks
- Technical problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Clear technical communication with internal and external stakeholders
- System log analysis and telemetry interpretation
- Customer-facing technical support experience
- SRE or operations background
