About this role
Ramp seeks a Security Engineer to strengthen product security across its financial infrastructure platform. You'll design secure-by-default systems, remediate vulnerabilities, and partner with engineering teams to embed security into core products serving thousands of companies managing hundreds of billions in annual spend.
What you'll do
- Create security-focused application primitives and integrate them into existing products
- Design and deploy platform-level mitigations for common security vulnerabilities
- Lead vulnerability remediation efforts across the tech stack in collaboration with engineering teams
- Partner with teams to architect inherently secure solutions
- Promote adoption of security tooling like linters, static analysis, and posture assessment scanners
- Triage and address issues from internal discovery, penetration testing, and bug bounty programs

- Software engineering (5+ years)
- Platform, infrastructure, or security experience (2+ years)
- Application security design
- Vulnerability analysis and remediation
- Python/Flask (preferred)
- Elixir (preferred)
- AWS infrastructure and security posture
- Security tooling and automation
