Software Engineer, Growth Platform
About this role
Join Ramp's Growth Platform team to engineer scalable systems powering customer acquisition and retention. You'll own high-impact projects spanning data pipelines, internal platforms, and AI-driven applications while collaborating across product, data, and design teams.
What you'll do
- Build and scale internal platforms including workflow orchestration, incentives, and sales/marketing applications
- Design data ingestion and activation pipelines across Ramp products and external systems
- Apply AI/LLMs to automate processes, personalization, and growth signal derivation
- Drive business outcomes through experimentation and metric-driven development
- Make strategic decisions on building custom solutions versus leveraging third-party tools
- Partner with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
What they're looking for
- Software development (3+ years)
- Modern development tools and infrastructure
- Data pipeline and ETL tools (Fivetran, Airflow, Snowflake)
- AI/LLM production experience
- System design and engineering best practices
- User-facing or internal application development
- Startup environment adaptability
- Problem-solving and pragmatic decision-making
