About this role
Relativity Space seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to own process development for 3D-printed and machined Aeon-R engine components, driving production ramp and manufacturability improvements while collaborating across internal teams and external suppliers in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and optimize manufacturing and test processes for 3D printed and machined propulsion engine components
- Conduct root cause analysis, resolve production issues, and create work instructions for manufacturing partners
- Collaborate with supply chain to manage supplier relationships and ensure on-time hardware delivery
- Drive continuous improvements in manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and lead time reduction
- Lead cross-functional projects and build/mentor manufacturing team members
- Work hands-on in high-mix, fast-paced production environment with novel challenges
