About this role
Relativity Space seeks a Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer II to oversee end-to-end manufacturing of combustion device hardware for the Aeon-R and Vacuum Engine programs. You'll develop and implement production processes, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across teams to scale manufacturing for flight engines supporting Terran R's launch cadence.
What you'll do
- Oversee manufacturing development and production of combustion device hardware for Aeon-R and Vacuum Engine programs
- Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes to enable rapid production ramp and cost reduction
- Author work instructions and process procedures for complex hardware assemblies
- Collaborate with machine shop, additive manufacturing, supply chain, and propulsion design teams to improve manufacturability and scalability
- Ensure on-time engine delivery to meet program milestones and targets
- Drive process improvements and develop manufacturing strategy for combustion devices at Relativity
