About this role
Relativity Space seeks a Quality Engineer II to oversee test and launch quality operations at Stennis Space Center, managing build verification, non-conformance, process development, and AS9100 compliance while collaborating across propulsion testing teams. This role combines hands-on quality oversight of complex rocket stage systems with strategic process improvement and data-driven analysis to support flight readiness.
What you'll do
- Oversee in-process build verification, issue tracking, as-built verification, and non-conformance management
- Develop and review work instructions, corrective action plans, and rework/repair documentation
- Implement and maintain AS9100 Quality Management System policies and procedures for Test and Launch
- Collaborate with Test, Manufacturing, and Hardware Engineering teams to ensure quality objectives
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and present improvement initiatives
- Establish project goals and drive quality initiatives within the growing Test and Launch program
