Saronic Technologies is looking for a Manufacturing Tooling Engineer to join their team in Austin, TX. The role involves designing and validating tooling for marine product lines, interfacing with engineering teams, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the design and production processes.
What you'll do
- Design and validate manufacturing and assembly tooling
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers
- Evaluate mechanical designs for flaws and propose solutions
- Prepare detailed drawings applying GD&T
- Analyze tooling designs using calculations and finite element models
- Develop validation plans for tooling
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years in manufacturing or assembly tooling design
- Strong fundamentals in engineering concepts
- Experience with product lifecycle management
- Proficiency in CAD and finite element analysis software
- Innovative problem-solving skills
