Analyst, Vehicle System Validation Engineer
About this role
Scout Motors seeks a Vehicle System Validation Analyst to support software and diagnostic troubleshooting during vehicle commissioning in their Blythewood, SC production facility. You'll work hands-on with ECUs and diagnostic systems, collaborating across teams to resolve issues, stabilize software quality, and drive improvements in the Software Defined Vehicle platform.
What you'll do
- Identify, analyze, and resolve vehicle commissioning issues in the production environment using ECUs and diagnostic systems
- Support software qualification throughout product development and pre-series/series production phases
- Analyze commissioning, functional, and diagnostic errors with recommendations and effectiveness monitoring
- Coach production employees on system architecture, functions, and diagnostics through technical documentation and analysis
- Track defects, identify trends, and generate reports with key figures emphasizing error evaluations from databases
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop quality assurance processes and implement systemic improvements
