About this role
Scout Motors is hiring an Engineer for Vehicle Commissioning and Validation Data to join their Pilot Hall organization in Blythewood, South Carolina. You'll analyze and resolve vehicle commissioning issues, manage electronic validation data, and drive quality improvements in a production environment. This role bridges R&D and production to support the launch of Scout's electrified SUVs and trucks.
What you'll do
- Identify, analyze, and resolve vehicle commissioning issues using data-driven approaches during production
- Quantify and validate software verification results, functional tests, and diagnostic metrics throughout the product lifecycle
- Develop guided fault-finding procedures for commissioning stations and communicate with after-sales diagnostics
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations of large datasets including CAN logs, sensor data, and ECU traces
- Collaborate with cross-functional and validation teams to implement immediate and long-term quality improvements
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain data loggers and recorders for validation and verification test assets
