About this role
SharkNinja seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to lead early-stage innovation for corded/cordless kitchen appliances, turning consumer problems into feasible prototypes and guiding product roadmap decisions. You'll work across mechanical design, electronics, software, and batteries—collaborating globally with design, engineering, and test teams to validate ideas before full development.
What you'll do
- Drive front-end technology roadmap for corded/cordless products, collaborating across US, UK, and China teams
- Design and build proof-of-concept rigs and functional prototypes to validate ideas early
- Work across full product systems: mechanical design, sensors, software, batteries, and connectivity
- Communicate designs through sketches, CAD, 3D models, and physical prototypes
- Conduct design studies and engineering analyses with consumer experience as the focus
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an innovation-focused team culture
