Database Engineer Intern

SHEIN seeks a Database Engineer Intern for their San Diego office to support a team building highly available, scalable database infrastructure. You'll work on production database environments, performance optimization, and automation tools while gaining hands-on experience with distributed systems at enterprise scale.

• Maintain scalable and reliable production database environments
• Monitor systems and diagnose database issues as they arise
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and index tuning
• Build automation tools and scripts to reduce operational overhead
• Collaborate with development teams on database solutions
