About this role
ShipMonk is seeking a Junior Network Engineer to support their multi-site fulfillment network infrastructure across the US, Canada, UK, and Europe. You'll monitor enterprise systems, assist with WAN/LAN maintenance, and troubleshoot connectivity issues while learning from senior engineers in a structured, mentored environment.
What you'll do
- Monitor network systems and escalate complex issues to senior staff
- Perform routine maintenance on WAN/LAN infrastructure and site connectivity
- Support configuration, patching, and troubleshooting of switches, routers, and firewalls
- Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
- Resolve end-user connectivity and hardware issues
- Triage monitoring alerts in DataDog and document recurring problems
