About this role

Pasito (YC S22) seeks a Senior QA Engineer to own quality across their AI-native employee benefits platform. You'll test complex, high-stakes workflows for insurance carriers, balancing automation with human judgment to ensure accuracy and trust in a regulated industry.

What you'll do

• Own testing strategy and quality for critical product experiences used by insurance carriers and partners
• Design and execute tests for AI-assisted workflows, validating correctness, edge cases, and failure modes
• Write and maintain end-to-end test coverage using tools like Playwright for core user journeys
• Apply strategic mix of exploratory, manual, and automated testing across data flows and backend logic
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and Forward Deployed teams to surface risk early and define quality standards
• Partner with Forward Deployed team to QA custom client portals and high-priority implementations

What they're looking for

• QA fundamentals: test design, exploratory testing, regression strategies
• Test automation tools, particularly Playwright
• CI/CD pipeline and test environment setup experience
• Testing AI-assisted systems with probabilistic outputs
• End-to-end testing and quality metrics/reporting
• Technical understanding of system architecture beyond UI layer
• Communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in regulated or high-stakes industries
