About this role
Pasito (YC S22) seeks a Senior QA Engineer to own quality across their AI-native employee benefits platform. You'll test complex, high-stakes workflows for insurance carriers, balancing automation with human judgment to ensure accuracy and trust in a regulated industry.
What you'll do
- Own testing strategy and quality for critical product experiences used by insurance carriers and partners
- Design and execute tests for AI-assisted workflows, validating correctness, edge cases, and failure modes
- Write and maintain end-to-end test coverage using tools like Playwright for core user journeys
- Apply strategic mix of exploratory, manual, and automated testing across data flows and backend logic
- Collaborate with engineers, product, and Forward Deployed teams to surface risk early and define quality standards
- Partner with Forward Deployed team to QA custom client portals and high-priority implementations

- QA fundamentals: test design, exploratory testing, regression strategies
- Test automation tools, particularly Playwright
- CI/CD pipeline and test environment setup experience
- Testing AI-assisted systems with probabilistic outputs
