Firmware Development Engineer Intern

About this role

SK Hynix Memory Solution seeks a firmware development intern in San Jose to assist with embedded systems projects using AI-assisted development tools. You'll review, modify, and test firmware code while learning modern development practices in a semiconductor innovation environment.

What you'll do

• Use AI-assisted IDEs for prompt engineering and iterative code refinement
• Review and analyze existing firmware code to understand system architecture
• Modify and improve firmware based on project specifications
• Conduct firmware testing and identify bugs
• Debug low-level issues and document findings
• Collaborate with engineering teams on code improvements
