About this role
Skyryse seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to develop fly-by-wire flight software for their aviation safety platform. You'll design safety-critical embedded C systems compliant with DO-178C standards, work with hardware integration, and support FAA certification efforts.
What you'll do
- Design and develop flight-critical software in embedded C per DO-178C DAL A standards
- Create low-level drivers and safety-critical monitoring systems for flight operations
- Develop and test embedded components interfacing with motors, encoders, sensors, and heaters
- Collaborate with electrical engineers on hardware/software integration and bring-up
- Author and review software requirements, architecture, and design documentation
- Improve development and verification processes to enhance efficiency
