About this role

Space Kinetic seeks a Quality Engineer to establish and scale quality systems for spacecraft and flight hardware production. You'll partner across engineering and manufacturing to implement AS9100 standards, build a Quality Management System, and transition the company from prototype to reliable multi-vehicle production.

  • Own quality for a major spacecraft program from development through production
  • Build, implement, and scale the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Support AS9100 implementation and certification for manufacturing processes
  • Develop quality standards, processes, and controls for spacecraft and flight hardware
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish repeatable processes that enable consistent, high-quality production at scale
