About this role
SpaceX seeks an Application Software Engineer to develop mission-critical software that powers rocket production, Starlink operations, and internal systems. You'll own full-stack development projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly impact SpaceX's ability to accelerate launches and expand global internet services.
What you'll do
- Develop reliable, production-grade software solutions deployed across SpaceX operations
- Design and build new applications that improve manufacturing and operational efficiency
- Create prototypes to validate design concepts and identify technical constraints
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of user problems to architect efficient solutions
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code quality initiatives
- Own end-to-end software engineering from concept through deployment and monitoring
