About this role
SpaceX seeks an Aviation Development Engineer to lead technical service launches of Starlink with major airline partners. You'll manage end-to-end program governance, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination to integrate satellite connectivity into commercial aircraft operations.
What you'll do
- Own technical engagement and service launch strategy with airline partner customers
- Establish program governance, track milestones, and report to leadership and customer teams
- Lead coordination meetings and strategic reviews with internal teams, customers, and airframe manufacturers
- Translate customer requirements into technical and operational plans during pre-sales engagement
- Coordinate compliance documentation, type approvals, and regulatory artifacts across departments and vendors
- Interface with FAA and aerospace regulatory bodies to ensure certification compliance
