About this role
SpaceX seeks a Data Engineer to build data pipelines and analytics infrastructure for Starlink customer hardware reliability. You'll develop systems to monitor and improve performance of satellite dishes, routers, and related equipment as the constellation scales globally.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain data engineering infrastructure and custom software to enhance Starlink hardware reliability
- Build data pipelines and analytics tools for internal teams to monitor and analyze hardware performance
- Contribute to critical Starlink software repositories and customer-facing codebases
- Collaborate across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to drive business outcomes
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and execute projects independently
- Identify and solve complex problems in dynamic, fast-paced environments
