About this role
SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Facilities Engineer to design and build advanced electrical systems for Starlink manufacturing facilities in Redmond, WA. You'll manage power distribution, controls, and emergency systems while supporting a dynamic team working on globally impactful projects.
What you'll do
- Design electrical power distribution systems, switchgear, motor control centers, and lighting for new facility construction
- Specify and support installation of UPS systems, standby generators, automatic transfer switches, and power monitoring equipment
- Design ground support controls, data/communications infrastructure, grounding systems, fire alarm and lightning protection
- Perform load flow analysis and electrical equipment evaluation across facility systems
- Troubleshoot existing electrical equipment and controllers; provide technical support to facility technicians
- Collaborate with architects, construction engineers, and trade partners to meet project goals
