About this role

SpaceX seeks a Power Systems Engineer to design and implement electrical infrastructure for advanced Starlink manufacturing facilities in Redmond. You'll manage complex power distribution, control systems, and backup power solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support facility construction and operations.

What you'll do

  • Design electrical power distribution systems, switchgear, and motor control centers for new facilities
  • Specify and integrate UPS units, standby generators, automatic transfer switches, and emergency systems
  • Develop ground support system controls, ladder logic, and power monitoring solutions
  • Perform load flow analysis and electrical equipment evaluation for power systems
  • Troubleshoot existing electrical equipment and provide technical support to facility technicians
  • Coordinate with construction engineers, architects, and trade partners on electrical specifications
