About this role
SpaceX seeks a Mechanical Integration and Test Engineer for Starlink to oversee satellite and user product testing infrastructure, design tooling, and manage integration operations. This hands-on role combines mechanical design, manufacturability analysis, and cross-functional coordination to optimize vehicle testing and troubleshoot non-conformances.
What you'll do
- Design and manage physical test infrastructure and tooling for satellite integration
- Evaluate mechanical designs for manufacturability and system integration feasibility
- Coordinate with engineers, specialists, and technicians to optimize test operations
- Integrate new vehicles into existing test infrastructure and facilities
- Support day-to-day vehicle integration and test execution workflows
- Investigate non-conformances, determine root causes, and implement system improvements
