About this role
SpaceX seeks an Operations Engineer to optimize Falcon and Dragon production through process analysis, capacity planning, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll develop analytical tools and models to solve complex production challenges, manage KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Build analytical tools to assess delivery, capacity, and cost issues across production and supply chain
- Develop process flow models and simulations to analyze production system behavior
- Identify operational bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to optimize output and meet demand
- Collaborate across supply chain, engineering, operations, and finance teams
- Document best practices and manage organizational knowledge from production systems
